What are the requirements for the Afterpay Adobe Commerce Extension?

Supported Countries

Afterpay is available for Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) merchants with a store address in these countries:

  • United States See Cash App Afterpay technical guide

  • Australia

  • New Zealand

  • Canada

  • UK See Clearpay technical guide

Express Checkout is available in all supported countries with Version 3.4.0 and above.

The Cash App Pay Extension for Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 is only available to US merchants. See the Adobe Commerce - Install Extension topic for more details.

Adobe Commerce Version

The Afterpay Extension for Adobe Commerce (Magento) is compatible with version 2.2 or greater.

Store Currency

The extension relies on a dedicated Website Scope being used for each market region (country) with a corresponding Base Currency set in Adobe Commerce Admin.

To set the Base Currency, go to
Stores → Configuration → Currency Setup and set the currency to one of the following:

  • Australian Dollars (AUD)
  • Canadian Dollars (CAD)
  • New Zealand Dollars (NZD)
