Rates Overview
The Rates API enables you, the partner, to programmatically set buy rates for new and existing Afterpay merchants. There are several types of rates for Afterpay:

Default - Default buy rate automatically assigned to new merchants unless a tier or custom buy rate has been assigned

Tier - Series of buy rate tiers that are assigned to merchants based on the country and gross merchandise volume (GMV) specified during onboarding

Custom - Custom buy rates that are assigned to specific merchants
Note
Custom rates always take precedence over tier rates and default rates. If a merchant is assigned a custom rate, tier rates and default rates are ignored and the custom rate is used.
