# Bolt

Bolt is a leading checkout technology company that operates in the USA and Canada.

## Install and Configure Afterpay

Do the following to enable your customers to use Afterpay as a payment method on your Bolt checkout page:

1. Log in to the *Bolt Merchant Dashboard*.

2. Go to *Settings* > *Payments*.

3. Find *Alternative Payment Methods* and click **Add Afterpay**.

4. Follow the instructions on the page. You must enter the Merchant ID and Secret Key that we have given you.

5. Define the default division settings:

* **Currency**: Select the allowed currency: CAD.

* **Min Transaction Amount**: \$1

* **Max Transaction Amount**: \$2000

> The minimum and maximum transaction amounts are default amounts attached to your Afterpay Account. If you want to change these amounts, please contact the [Afterpay Merchant Admin Team](https://help.business.afterpay.com/hc/en-us).

* **Capture Payment**: Select either **Immediately** or **Manually**.

6. To enable Afterpay in checkout immediately, set the *Enable in Checkout* toggle to **ON**.

7. Select **Add Afterpay**.
